Empowered Connections is a curated weekly networking group where every member holds an exclusive seat in their profession. When you join, you're not just attending a meeting — you're becoming the go-to person in your field for every other member at the table.
We encourage all prospective members to visit as a guest on any Tuesday before applying. Come see the energy, meet the group, and make sure it's the right fit for you.
Only one representative of each profession is permitted at any time. Your seat is exclusive — you are the only one at the table in your field.
Members are expected to attend every Tuesday meeting. If you can't make it, you may send a substitute. Missing 3 or more meetings in any 6-month period without a substitute may result in a membership review.
The annual membership fee is $400, due at your first meeting. A 10% late fee applies if not received within one week of first attendance. All dues are non-refundable.
Our principles shape everything
Membership Agreement
This Agreement is entered into between Empowered Connections ("EC" or "the Group") and the undersigned member ("Member"). By joining Empowered Connections, Member agrees to abide by all provisions of this Agreement.
1. About Empowered Connections
Empowered Connections is a professional business networking group dedicated to helping members grow their businesses through meaningful relationships, shared expertise, and consistent engagement. The Group is built on the Seven Cs: Character (Be a good human), Competence (Know your stuff), Clarity (Be crystal clear), Consistency (Keep showing up), Connection (Play the matchmaker), Contribution (Give more, get more), and Celebration (Savor every win).
2. Meetings
Empowered Connections meets every Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Champlin Ice Forum, 12165 Ensign Ave N, Champlin, MN 55316.
On the third week of each month, a Planning and Strategy Meeting is held in addition to the regular Tuesday meeting. Attendance at Planning and Strategy Meetings is not mandatory but is strongly encouraged.
3. Attendance Policy
Attendance at weekly Tuesday meetings is mandatory. Each Member is expected to attend every regular meeting. When a Member is unable to attend, the Member may designate a substitute to attend on their behalf. A meeting attended by a substitute shall not be counted as an absence.
A Member who is absent from three (3) or more meetings within any six (6) month period, without an authorized substitute, is subject to review and potential termination from the Group. Termination decisions are made at the sole discretion of Empowered Connections leadership.
4. Membership Dues and Fees
The annual membership fee is $400.00. Membership dues are due and payable in full at the time the Member attends their first meeting. Payment must be received before or upon the Member's first attendance.
If full payment is not received within one (1) week following the Member's first meeting, a late fee equal to ten percent (10%) of the total annual membership fee ($40.00 based on current dues) will be assessed. Continued participation in the Group is contingent upon payment of all fees, including applicable late fees.
Membership is renewed on an annual basis. Renewal is subject to approval by Empowered Connections leadership. All membership dues and fees are non-refundable.
5. Professional Exclusivity
Empowered Connections operates on a one-member-per-profession basis. Only one member representing a given profession or substantially equivalent business category may be active in the Group at any time. This exclusivity is a material benefit of membership.
6. Leadership
Empowered Connections is governed by a leadership structure consisting of a President, Vice President, and Secretary/Treasurer and others. Leadership is responsible for the administration of the Group, interpretation of this Agreement, and all decisions regarding membership approval, renewal, and termination. All leadership decisions are final.
7. Amendment of Terms
Empowered Connections reserves the right to amend or update this Agreement, the Group's policies, and any related procedures upon reasonable written notice to all active members. Continued participation in the Group following notice of an amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
8. Termination of Membership
Membership may be terminated by either the Member or Empowered Connections. Empowered Connections may terminate membership for: (a) violation of this Agreement; (b) failure to satisfy the attendance policy; (c) failure to pay membership dues or fees; (d) conduct inconsistent with the Group's values; or (e) any other reason determined by leadership in its discretion. No refund of dues will be issued upon termination.
